1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using The Souq ("the Service"), operated by Yemma Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Souq is a community discovery platform that allows users to discover, share, and discuss places, events, and resources. We provide the platform as-is and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted content.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or that infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Listing Claims

Business owners may claim listings through our verification process. Claiming a listing does not constitute an endorsement by The Souq. We reserve the right to approve or reject claims at our discretion.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data at scale
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by Yemma Labs LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, reviews, or halal certifications posted by users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yemma Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
